"He's also more social than me," offers George. "I'm a bit quieter. He does all the talking. He's taken to Sydney like a duck to water, the big man."
No, the widest shoulders belong to identical twin Tom, who is 126kgs and the last to arrive at Redfern.
The other discerning difference is their size. Tom is an inch taller, but also heavier. Maguire wants to bring him down to below 120kgs to cope with the speed, intensity and most importantly defensive side of the Australian game.
Have a look at them Luke, Sam, George and Thomas and it's clear Mark Burgess gave his sons shoulders wider than the 309 bus that stops outside Redfern Oval.
Tom, 20, who arrived in early November, says: "I played with George in the lower ranks (at Bradford), but I've never trained with Sam or Luke. Souths are about to feel the full brunt of the brothers together. It's class. I'm living the dream. It's exactly what we've always wanted to do. We're having the time of our life."

Instead, he is rolling the dice under the Spartan regimen of Souths coach Michael Maguire.
In life, it was a passion and understanding of rugby league. In death, he gave them the sort of perspective that can only come when you watch your father taken too early, to an affliction as fierce and unforgiving as motor neurone disease.
So here they are. Four boys who grew up playing for Dewsbury Nike Vapormax Tn
And then there's the obvious.
"People get mixed up," Sam says. "I'm young and single. I'm 23 years old. People invite me to these events, which I've never had before in England. So I enjoy it. It's cool. I don't get on the p there. I turn up and meet a few birds and that. How good's life? I do enjoy the social scene. I'm young and single, and I'm not bothered about saying it. I used to get criticism off fans, saying I need to get out of the social pages. I can't help it if I go to places and people see me."
"He was just an out and out front rower," says Sam Burgess of his late father, who died in 2007 at the age of 45. "A big barrel. He was just under six foot, but square. Massive shoulders. Massive back and chest and shoulders and legs. We were too young to watch him play, but everyone reckoned he was dirty. Dirty, tough front rower. Did the stuff he needed to do."
criticism of Sam Nike Air Vapormax Laceless is that he's squeezed too hard at times. Too many red carpets and not enough appearances in the red and green jumper.
Now they dream of something more profound, and the prospect of the four brothers playing a first grade game together is tantalisingly close to reality.
Ask those at Souths and they say they've never had to address his focus. Consider the heinous injuries he played on with last year, including torn knee cartilage and compound fractures of his finger.
Big Sammy sees rugby league a little different to many other players. Away from the game, he wants to talk football all day when others would prefer to discuss FIFA 2012. He will never forget his first game in Penrith, when the footy fields were filled on a Saturday afternoon with youngsters playing rugby league. Where others don't want to be recognised in public, he welcomes the adulation.
For years, the Burgess boys thought it would be something special if they could all play for the same club. If they could just drive to training together.

Moor in the north of England "The Bronx," as Sam jokingly calls it but now find themselves living in the Emerald City of Sydney, playing football for the most famous club in the game, that is owned (for now) by a Hollywood star in Russell Crowe.
So similar do they appear at training, the Rabbitohs coaching staff last week ordered one of them to shave their head because they couldn't be distinguished in video footage of training sessions.

"This is what we've always talked about doing," offers Luke,
Any other differences?
"I had offers in England, and they were pretty good," says Tom. "But I wanted to give it a go here. If it doesn't work out, I can go back."
The idea of playing with his brothers, as much as testing himself in the NRL, is what convinced Tom to turn down offers to stay at financially crippled Bradford or join Super League powerhouse Wigan on significant money.
Tom and George are identical twins and their appearance is every bit as deceiving to the eye as Brett and Josh Morris.
"I've realised that when we're walking around," Tom says of his brother's celebrity. "People saying, 'Go the Bunnies!' Or 'Go the Roosters!"'
Rugby league has had its Mortimer and Hughes and Walker and Walters brothers, but the last four to play a single first grade game were Ray, Roy, Rex and Bernard Norman. For Annandale. In 1910. That's how rare it is.

"You know it," George laughs. "You've got to squeeze the most out of the Sydney lifestyle."
"Tom lost the bet," George laughs. "The old fashioned way." The bet was the ancient Yorkshire game of rock paper scissors.
The widest Burgess shoulders these days don't belong to George, who at 118kgs looked like Conan the Barbarian wearing the famous cardinal and myrtle of South Sydney last season.
